I am naturally loud and thought 'I'm just passionate', and that's fine in the bedroom, but not in an argument :/ Therefore my responsibility to change, for me and the ones around me. I yelled at people and I said 'my parents/friends/family did that so it's all I know', but it was still MY behaviour. My family broke up when I was young, both parents had issues with either neglect or anger, so I became a bitter and angry guy. Ask yourself if you want them to think you are behaving with the worst intent possible, because it's hard to tell the difference if they haven't grown up the same as you. There's a fine line between passion and aggression, and whether you intend to direct it at those you love or not is irrellevant. Don't misunderstand yourself, reason does not mean freedom from responsibility, I've learned myself that just because there's a reason I've come to act in the ways that I have, does not mean that it is not my responsibility to do better. Yelling at your partner whether you are a man or a woman is disrespectful, and giving it a reason is just giving yourself a way to escape being held accountable, and you shouldn't accept that from yourself. Mate I get where you come from, but don't make the mistake of thinking other yelly men are like you. That's something that I would never want to give up and I look forward to the rest both the good and the slightly frustrating.
